The first online training for Innovation support organizations (ISOs) managers has started in Lebanon on the 25th of January.
This course, organized by CIHEAM Bari within the framework of WATERMEDYIN Project – funded by the Italian Cooperation – is part of a training programme which will be replicated also in Palestine and Tunisia with the aim of strengthening the capacities,, as well as the opportunities for collaboration of those entities whose goal is to empower young entrepreneurs, and in particular, encouraging iniatives led by young and women entrepreneurs, and those addressing the scarcity of water resources and the development of marine and coastal resources.
During 10 days, a total of 60 ISO members will be trained by a group of international renowned experts such as such Dr Giordano Dichter from H&D partners, Dr Giovanni Zazzerini (International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises INSME), Tom Strodtbeck (Global Growth Hub) and many more.
The programme includes several sessions based on the Entrepreneurship Support Value Chain – ESVC methodology and toolset developed to holistically assess business support organizations and entrepreneurial ecosystem to enhance their operations in a sustainable way.
This initiative has been inspired by the path already undertaken by CIHEAM Bari in the framework of the
Mediterranean Innovation Partnership for youth entrepreneurship and technology transfer in the agro-food sector (MIP) which is a well-established network among institutions committed to the innovation and technological transfer of knowledge, experience, know-how and good practices in agro-food sector in several Mediterranean countries.
